i've been doing the same thing after the kids go down with my spotting scope.

tough thing to get a solid focus on with a spotting scope. infinitely better than wasting time staring at my phone on the couch.



last nights smokey orange moon. the smoke haze and the atmospheric distortion at the lower angle really killed the focus.

Been an eventful week, a friend stopped by and said there was a giant drone down the road so I took the two middle boys to see it spraying my cousins field.




Then my wife has maxed me out on large crowds for the summer. Took the three oldest to a dude perfect tour show, it was fun though.

Luckily yes. Missed the big trees by a truck width which would have resulted in 60-0 in no seconds. Totaled the truck and damage to the trailer (bent axles and more) but repairable. Near Gold Creek for those familiar.
