Youngsters and a very pregnant pronghorn.

[mtmiller]

Controversial critter for certain. I have never photographed wild/feral horses before and I was pleasantly surprised how much fun it was.

Looks like that horse has eaten a lot of good deer, elk, pronghorn forage.

A trip to the sandbar is always has fascinating tracks and critters for my Grandson!

Nice day-trip to Montreal. Tulips at the Botanical Gardens and a trip to the city's Archeology Museum. It's built on the site of the first European settlement there and you can descend stairs to various levels below current ground-level and see the actual stone walls, tombs, and even the trenches in the ground from the original log walls, built in 1642. And... you can walk through the old sewer. It was built on the bed of the Little River, which flowed into the St. Lawrence there, but has now been diverted. Pretty wild!

Little one wanted me to read a book for her. She actually sat still for the whole thing.

I was happy with the range condition and residual I noticed. I’ve seen considerably worse conditions with mismanaged domestic livestock.

Boys are excited about the killdeer nest behind the house with the first two hatching today.

Last weekend trip to a nearby lake.

One more to go

We also have tadpoles going. Second child loves animals and found them a couple weeks ago and is all exciting seeing the legs appear.

[BenP]

He just looked again and found one that has lost the tail and another that is close. He is one excited "dad"
