Dam beavers! The spot where the trail was supposed to cross the creek, about 100 yards upstream, was under about 3 feet of water.

He’s only a spike, I was way too slow picking up on them this morning. Watching my feet I guess. There are a couple of decent bulls that snuck over the ridge before I could get a pic.
