Week at the OBX, kids caught a bunch of these guys one day, anyone know what type of crab it is?

Just started out on my rough country hike, no trails or tracks to speak of, a few drift fences to negotiate. Keep track of where the ladies travel back and forth between timber and alfalfa makes getting me and the dogs over fences easier. 0545 Friday, typically they are earlier than this. No bulls, just cows and calves.

This guy was hanging back about 100 yards from a herd of 30-40 cows and calves. I think all the noise of the cows jabbering was just too much.
