Bought this brand new on a whim from the Weatherby store and has been sitting. I’ve put 8 rounds thru it cleaning between each shot.
It’s a Weatherby Model 307 Range XP in 7mm PRC. Barrel is fluted and 24” (22” + 2” Muzzle Brake). Stock has an adjustable comb, MDT metal 5 round magazine and have an extra 5 round polymer magazine.
This model came with the Peak 44 pic rail and I added the Peak 44 ARCA/Pic rail up front. Also includes Leopold Back Country 30mm rings and a brand new Vortex Viper HD 3-15x44 scope with VMR-3 (MRAD) illuminated reticle.
$2200 + taxes invested in it. Looking for $1800 and you pay shipping and your FFL fee. Or would consider a trade for something in 7mm or .30 cal, a little shorter & lighter, perhaps a carbon barrel. Tikka would be first preference. Something a little more handy for mountain and mixed country walking.
