Out visiting the othe side of the US this week. The Great Smoky Mountains are probably our next move. They never get old

Not all from Sunday but a few pictures from our trip to the Gallatin NF. I've never been out there when there has been so many people, but we found a pretty private campsite and took advantage of early morning to avoid the crowds. Saw a bunch of mule deer and flushed tons of grouse in the timber. We saw a massive 4x4 mule deer on the drive home near Pompey's Pillar. Fishing wasn't as spectacular as normal, but we still did pretty good, had good luck with hoppers in the afternoons

Haven't made it up to the big lake this year. Thought it would be a good hike to stretch out the legs.
Started early enough that I didn't see another person all the way to the lake! Coming back was a different story.
