I was just coming with a similar story… only from back in my suit wearing days and I managed to wear two different dress shoes. Was pretty hard to pass off being not hungover at work the next morning with that blunder.

If I wore a suit to work they’d think I was still drunk.

I coated my bench with copper green. I got out voted as to painting over it. I ended up with several coats of clear spar varnish as the finish
