Fun day on the river. Our shooting was comical, but still brought a few home.

Baked then Broiled then hickory smoked venison shoulder. In that order. Finished one side to 135 degrees, the other I baked an hour at 350 then 4 hours at 210. Both were Mmmmmm good! Edge to the roast-cooked (long cooked) side.

Hubby bought me studio time at the local art shop. Finally finished my first pieces. @Ben Lamb how did I do? I really enjoyed pottery in school, and I think I might enjoy it even more now. There is something so relaxing about it that I did not fully appreciate when I was a kid.

Looks awesome!

Thought a 10 foot step ladder and 12 foot forked extension pole would be enough to get the lights all the way to the top. This December is going to be a growth opportunity for OCD…

I’ll see if I find mine. It’s around somewhere from when I used to hang lights for work.

Happy Birthday, Ridgeline. Dad bought in new in '06, it took us on several Kansas bird hunts. I bought it from him in 2015. Today it rolled 100K, I wish it could tell all its stories.

Paint roller extension pole, shelf bracket, electrical tape and a wire hanger will do wonders.

That’s basically what I was using, it just wasn’t long enough. It’s okay though. This good for me. Because perfection is something that only lives in our imaginations, right?
