Back home in Billings, waiting for my oldest sons plane to land so I can run up to the airport and get him.. Wild weekend of Music and Rodeo in Sheridan, it ended for me with seeing Tracy Byrd playing, then I went down to the Mint Bar Street Dance and caught the end of the Kenny Feidler gig… I also got to meet Tris Munsick earlier when he was doing his sound check for his show over at Black Tooth Brewery

Mom’s been on a girls trip since Wednesday, and the boys have me wore out. We decided to build a fort in the living room this morning.

Had a really fun day chasing brook trout on some beautiful mountain streams, with an old friend. He took this shot of me trying to balance on a rock, while endeavoring to maintain a decent drift. Below, the rewards: I watched this little beauty slither lazily up from the bottom to whack the fly.

Sitting in the shade it’s not too bad heat wise . I think this old girl is pretty much shot out. Lots of alligator checking in there .

Gonna try some 118 HHT. If they don’t group I think a found the donor for my 358 Norma Magnum.

Took my boys out for a trip to Pompeys pillar !! Even though it’s only 35 minutes or so from Billings. I’ve never been out there yet drove past it a few times but now I’ve seen William Clark signature from 1806 July 25 neat piece of history. The glass case surrounding the signature was placed there by the last land owner of the property to protect it before it was eventually bought by the government and turned into a park.
