I’m seeing a pattern.

I have a beef coming next week with a hog, an elk, an antelope, and a 2022 deer along with fish and squirrels so I gotta make some room. I took some 2021 ground deer out to make jerky. 15 pounds to be exact. I love my wife but note how she wrote on the tape then placed the tape over the area you’re supposed to write in the bag. Started smoking it at 7am and the last 5#’s are finally on.

Both the crates and the covers came from Dakota 283. The cover is the Mud River and can be ordered from other vendors as well.

You can't see it here, but 2 degrees F, and 15 mph wind, made that sunrise feel pretty cold but welcome.




The last fish at the end of a three-day trip. The color of that fish is unretouched. Just like it came out of the water. I wish I had taken a picture straight down on it's back.
