A long time ago, I headed into the Canadian wilderness, back into the CIP logging territory. In on a dirt road than wound it’s way 107 miles, past pristine lakes filled with Pike and Walleye. I saw an occasional moose cross the road. The bridges over small streams were rickety, to say the least. There was some kind of small grouse there too. I had a Winchester ‘94. I often wonder if they ever paved that road. Probably not.

And my compliments on the cutting board too. If you made it, what's kind of wood are the reddish strips that run NE/SW?
