I was at a bird farm in MN where you can shoot anything. Wanted to get him out on some action his first time.

Not judging, just wanted to make sure a warden wasn’t gonna be knocking on your door after posting that online.

Yesterday was one of the last good photo days on Southern Utah's Kolob mountain. Storm is ragging now, knocking off all the leaves before the snow hits tonight.

That went through my mind… however, after waiting 20 years for the tag I wanted the experience to last more than five hours. I am expecting to have six more days in peak rut as well as two additional weekends to get it done.

Good call. I had my first “glory” tag this year, and tagged out on day 2. A bull that was all I wanted and more, but the not struggling, suffering, putting in a ton of effort, left me with an empty, remorseful feeling.

I mean, you wait 20 years on a tag you want the full experience. It’d be like going to Disney world and cutting the lines to ride the rides. F that. I wanna stand in the sun sweating like a whore in church being miserable.

When you see him on your wall you wanna know you put in the effort. I’m 3/4 goofy though so take my opinion for what it’s worth.
