Looks like they purged the part about the guy with his own jet airplane. The video I remember had a cartoon version of Willie Nelson beating up on a cartoon version of Billy Idol.

While I was checking to make sure I had the lyrics right, I learned that the song was co-written by Tom T Hall and another guy.

Doesn't surprise me to see Tom T in there , he was a great music story teller

I had quite a crew of characters on my concrete crew back then. We'd be pouring flatwork with everybody pulling their weight. I'd be running the chute and to break the monotony I'd start singing "that ain't workin'". Instantly put everyone in a better frame of mind and helped us all get through the day. Thanks, Mark.
