The county commissioners ended up voting to close this road and donating it to the ranch. This is a major hit to NM sportsmen.

This shit happens all the time in NM.
Taxpayers pay for county road maintenance on county roads that run thru a ranch or near & then gates go up and it's a private road now.2 in the last year in Catron Co. I know of....but I know a legal way to the public land the Great Western thinks they own.
Good ol boy bullshit.
