Spring Time Again!

Spring has sprung - officially!
17 pound Spring Chinook, fresh from the Columbia Estuary. A lot like big game hunting - time consuming; 37 rod hours over 4 days of fishing for two takedowns and this guy in the boat!

Seasons open 'till April 6th, Heading out tomorrow morning for one more go at it.
Even with the long hours between fish an incredibly fun time.
No better eating Salmon than these springers!
