For those of you who are coming out here this year, it should be as good as it gets, cause we had rain galore.
Yesterday was a bowhunting competition of SA Bowhunters Association. We all got soaked, but nobody complained about getting wet.

There are still areas in need of additional rain, but as Lochi said: The major plains game hunting areas had lots of it by now.

Whereas I was really worried at one time, I now see big broods of young guinea fowl all over. It is going to be like a birdhunters paradize this year in my area near Dwaalboom.

Lochi, you owe me an e-mail with some dates for hunting. How about visiting here next weekend?

Well, since this thread started, the heavens have opened.
Tomorrow SA Bowhunters are staging a broadhead competition at the AIM Show. I am the organiser and am watching the weather. It is coming down in buckets as I am watching!
I have only 2 clients in the Alldays district,8 to 13 April and 12 to 17 May. Will mail you details.
