Sooo, you east side MT guys

I have seen one out of state plate, guy from WA. My friend and I were heading up the mountain, finally got some snow, he was in 4wd, not deep just icy. We see this guy in a t-shirt, jeans, and shoes, running down the road, he rounds the corner and sees us, then just starts walking. As we get closer, he looks shell-shocked, bridge of his nose cut and bleeding, we slow down to see WTH. He doesn't want anything to do with us, just keeps walking, doesn't flag us or anything. Then a car pulls up fast behind us, some Astro van, we see him jump in with them as we are pulling out of sight. Get around the corner to see "Mario's" chrysler nosed into the ditch up against a tree on a corner. Both rear tires off the ground. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Could just laugh, I don't know what that guy was doing, or how far he thought he was gonna get up the hill.

Now that the snow's piling up over here, and the big boys are out sniffing does, I'm sure glad all the serious hunters have already tagged out on trips back East.

Right Randy, you mean they filled all their kid's youth tags already, who are you kidding. Now its time for Dad to trophy hunt.

I have a buddy still living back home where i grew up in West Mont..............he has been out every day since rifle season started, yes every single day, and still hasn't found a buck over 130" to shoot at. 10 years ago, you would see 50 deer a day minimum and many 100 to 130 inchers.

Can wolves get parvo? Cause that would be really good right about now:)

Lighten up Draht! :D
We've got the best whitetail conditions we've had in three years, and the least amount of hunting pressure I've seen in my life.

It's amazing how much a little weather can change a guys attitude. I'm pumped for these last two weeks.

LOL. I know, I am a little irritated. If I hear one more story of that BS going on, I am going to throttle someone. Time to lose the "youth" hunt.

And yes critter, that is how its been. The best buck I have seen was a 35 inch 3 point, well, maybe 40 with the spread credit.

Currently, I am seriously considering finding a good pull-out on Hwy 2 and smoking the first descent mulie that I see heading for Glacier Park.(Just kidding) This is serious snow piling up, has got to have them on the move.

I'm glad I don't talk to people, that'd piss me off.

All the whitetail are moving out in to the burns and south facing open hills to rut in the snow, and it's awesome hunting right now. I saw more bucks in the back of trucks Sunday driving around town than I have all season, and that was before all this snow hit.

I can just imagine all the nice bucks that'll come through the Blackfoot check station this weekend.

If you can't tell I'm freaking pumped to go nail a big old whitey!
