Small Items

I have an early season backpack deer hunt coming up. What are some of your guys' small items that you can't live without?
Not stuff that you use 1 out of 5 trips, but items you use every outing. True game changers!

For me:

blistex
wet wipes
eye patch for spotter
tums
sleeping pills
inflatable pillow
glassing pad
coffee
trekking poles

Paracord and duct tape. Don’t use them on every outing, but they are so multi-purpose that they are always in my pack.

Tags. I don’t always use them but a real pain when left in the truck

Good for- blowing your nose, drying off after creek showers, cleaning mashed potatoes out of camp stove pot.

No tag? Then forget a sharpie. I found pens to be useless while filling out the tag.

I also bring:
Ibuprofen or Tylenol
A small bottle of liquid bandage
Gold bond
Extra AAA batteries (I try to only bring gear that uses AAA)

Uncle Bill’s Sliver Grippers. Just buy them by the six pack. Backpacks, center consoles, makeup drawers, junk drawers, work, gifts to friends.
