The ribs were excellent. So was a roast. He was a fatty! Moose and sheep is hard to beat. My mountain goat was a different story. Couldn't cut him with a chainsaw, and the smell would even run you out of the house. My labs liked it however.

Sheep Hunts

T BONE that is the way it is in the Rockies. Lots of big rams hang above the highways in Colorado also. I was fortunate to take a ram in 1992 where I was back in quite a ways but since then I have seen a lot of 3/4 to full plus rams while standing on pavement. I am setting on max # of points again and waiting for one more chance at a bighorn in Colorado. Late......................................

Yeh T-Bone, there's a little difference between most Montana sheep units and Idaho Salmon River sheep country.
