Check out this find why I was out shed hunting I found this 20 gauge right next to a dead cow elk and here hind Quarters were missing

when i was a kid some of the guys who hunted with my dad did more drinking than they did hunting.one day one of the guys stumbled into the woods with his 30-30 just to pee and when he came out he didnt have his gun.he said someone stole it but we all knew he was just so drunk he leaned it against a tree and forgot it.no one knows what happened to that gun but that guy is better off without it.it is always neat to find good stuff in the woods.do you think that elk was killed with the 20.

did anyone try and trace the serial numberon the nef.?....three dead cows with the hind quarters taken only...curious to how this story pans out!......let us know.
