Caribou Gear Tarp

Shank it? or Crank it? Only the Billy knows

What great adventure this is becoming. You didn't need that elk tag any way. Just don't forget about your daughters youth deer hunt.

That last goat is a hog, horns don't look too impressive, but that may be because he has such a large body? I'd shoot him in a heartbeat as long as he was in a recoverable location.

This is the best goat that we found scouting for my Washington hunt. Will be pleased if I can relocate him in 10 days.

Nice looking goat there! I dunno about the horns with the bigger billy I've seen. I could care less he checks my other boxes which trump over all score with me. I have some other photos where his horns look plenty good enough to me. Good luck to you!

Another weekend up in the unit. Not a lot of in deep stuff but we managed to have some fun. Little fishing, little atv action, all around another good weekend. The crowds are getting busier up there 20 horse trailers at the last parking spot this weekend probably getting in and setup and scouting themselves.

A little frog action

We're getting closer.....

My first thought based on the title was what is someone posting about his crank and cranking it???? Well have fun finding Billy.

Looking at the weather, I am kind of feeling worried about the tent. @EYJONAS! is probably confined to tent as the snow gets deeper and deeper.
I just saw him this morning at the town pump. 18” of snow and a look of defeat on his face……. It’s gonna melt and this is gonna be a hell of a story looking forward to reading it. Good luck again man have to grab a beer during the “quiet week”

hows the weather now hoping the snow is melting and weather cooperates better
Really rooting for ya

The weather has been nothing short of spectacular this far I'm sitting here waiting, almost counting the hours but not quite yet. We've got a plan in place for a 8 day or so adventure, I'm feeling pretty good about it so far. Aside from the fact I don't feel as is shape as I should be, we'll survive though.

Waiting for the locks to come in a little bit.

I've been quiet on the thread, haven't had much to report. Flag football, work and life are keeping me at bay.

I've been shooting my bow every day, 40 or 50 arrows usually during lunch. Getting dialed in and ready to rock. The first adventure that will be my weapon of choice. I'll report some more when I start to compile the gear and get some weights and what not. Looking forward to it, I honestly can't believe I'm going mountain goat hunting in 11 days......
