This is my year for an H2 rifle tag.... Speaking it into existence.

15 points got me H3 archery. 22 wasn't enough for Prairie elk 27. Maybe next year. Normally I apply H2 archery but thought I would give H3 and that 9000 acre burn a shot. Got the whole month off.

My daughter has a bull tag for H2, so we got to get that one filled first. But I'll let you know what's left when we are done. HA

Was out first 4 days of season. I woke up from a mid day nap, sweating profusely. Nope too dang hot. Ill go back when this heat breaks. Elk do not seem interested in anything besides food, water, shade and security just yet. Hard to seriously considering shooting one with temps in high eighties and nineties.
