That delw caught over 40 pounds today at bartlett lake and it was not catfish nor carp.

Oh ok heres how the day went.
Started out this A.M. A very nice morning, sun coming up birds singing, air blowing through your hair blah blah blah.
So brian and I come around this corner heading for a nice long straight stretch( dont want to give my spot away
) and there was a few people on the same path we were, Brian and I noticed that they were using bright shinny spinners with black skirts. This one semi big one went for a few of the others guy's spinners, lots of short strikes I think it hit like 3 or four of them all misse's,.
Well I had a trailor on and I see it coming( yeah right at the surface), as it gets closer I see its mouth open and WHAM it took a chunk out of my driver side trailer tire. These was no way to release and Absolutly no way of getting it mounted.. We are guessing the weigth to be about 40lbs, caught on a 14" aluminum 5 blade rim with a black goodyear marathon skirt.
No kidding. I have never seen this before. I have heard of it but never whitnessed it. This dog was chasing cars and trying to bite the freaking tires, he/she is like 2 car lengths ahead of us and we are doing like 45 mph. It heads straight(straight on) for my trailer tire and as I was looking in the side view mirror I swear it tried to take a chunk of of the tire. Unfortunatly my tire took him out instead.
This stupid dog has been chasing cars for about a year that I know of, ( one night kurt told me that dog is going to get nailed), well Since I was using a trailer I nailed it
Any way had a decent day on bartlett. we will see what happeneds tomorrow. Hopefully things pan out like they did today minus the MUTT, and a few minor motor problems.

I can still picture that dog in the side mirror trying to eat my tire.
I am going to drive by tomorrow and see if I can lure one of his brothers or cousins out. I was thinking for try a BF Goodrich on turbo rims....

Del, I did the same thing, only it was a big old hound that chased my truck and stopped to strut his stuff when the trailer caught up to him. I like to have never got that fender bent back where I could go on to the lake. On the way back I saw some folks looking for their dog....I told the man what had happened and that the dog took out for the woods after the hit, they never found it.
