Ruby River Moose

Was asked today if I wanted to take leave tomarrow and thursday to finish up my Haitian vacation. So moose season starts tomarrow morning for me!

Yeah i sure did...........5 horn base widths wide, nice palms........... only one double brow though, and my first evening of moose hunting................. but only about 400 yards from a good road.........

Took until 1am to get him quartered and cooled down and all the next morning to get him out. Will be cutting up moose meat all day today.

Nice bull. Have only tried the meat once from a buddies moose in Alaska but it was out of this world! Looks like you have a good one there. Congrats on a good bull.
