Rocky Mountain High

[PoleX]

I’ve never shot bergers on a big game animal. It was great for the hide, pretty rough on the meat. Pin hole on the entry side, explosion inside the cavity. No blood but he basically barrel rolled on impact feet over back.

[Wild Bill]

Thats what I came up with, although I was zoomed in on my phone.

I seen four for sure on my phone screen and thought maybe 2 more.

There’s usually a hidden one below the hairline.

My buddy sent me this from the next morning.

That’s what you should look like after a goat hunt. I look like I was ridden hard and put away wet. I’d Give Mrs. Dell a run for her money.

Congrats on the goat! You give a tooth to Julie/FWP?

Lots of fun all summer in the high country. Highlight of a tag like this IMO:

Congrats @PoleX! Were those new boots?

Thank you! Got them for Christmas two seasons ago. Between my buddies goat tag last year and mine this year they got a lot of miles. Hopefully they lead me to nice bull tomorrow.
