Remember this bull??

P1040276.jpg

He was harvested on this years LE Elk hunt. I guess we all underestimated this bull, because it ended up scoring 384 gross.

Heres a link to some of the kill shots!

Congrats to the lucky hunter!!

In that case - I up the estimate to that bull elk that hunter passed up on the other post .... as being a solid 370 bull !!!

Hornseeker,

My pics were taken In August, and this bull was harvested just a few weeks ago.

Speedgoat,

I would like to see the score sheet as well.....the moment I saw this bull, I KNEW that he would be a 380 class bull, but then I second guessed myself, and estimated him a lot lower. I know that looking at the pictures he might not look that huge, but trust me.....I was 10-15 yards from this bull for about 5 minutes. I got a GOOD look at him! Not only that, but I trust what the hunter is telling me, I doubt he wouldve made up the score.....like I said, it GROSSED 384, and netted somewhere in the 370's.

Here is the "unofficial" score sheet on this bull. The taxidermist who is doing this mount provided the hunter with the most acurate measurments he could.

A. No. points on Right antler -- 6
No. points on Left antler -- 6
B. tip to tip spread -- 39 2/8
C. Greatest Spread -- 51
D. Inside spread of main beams -- 45
R.A. L.A.
E. length of abnormal pts. 1 6/8 1 5/8
F. length of main beam 58 55 3/8
G-1 16 16 2/8
G-2 17 4/8 17 5/8
G-3 11 14
G-4 19 2/8 20 4/8
G-5 15 3/8 14 4/8
H-1 11 11 1/8
H-2 7 7
H-3 7 2/8 7 2/8
H-4 6 6/8 6 5/8
Gross = 384 3/8
Net = 372 5/8"

Well......the numbers dont lie! Hopefully this will end the debate on how big this bull really is! Congrats again to the hunter! This is a well deserved trophy!
