Serious question; when would you say you quit believing local and national news? 2016, 2020? Just curious because it seems most folks that claim to be independent thinkers weren’t that way before 2016.

Not sure your age, but what were your news sources pre 2016, and what are they now?

What in the last say since 9/11 makes you want to believe anything fully. Kennedy said not long ago conspiracy theories are up like 37-0.
In 5 or 6 years we can revisit the year of 2025 into 2026 and see how dumb we all were or how smart we all were.

I will reiterate, if you experienced treatment like that at the hands of law enforcement, I’m quite certain your recounting of the events would be very emphatic and emotional.

Man, there just doesn’t seem to be enough of “How would I feel if that happened to me?” or “Would I be upset if the ‘other guy’ did that?” left these days.

At its core, it’s wild that, as a society we’ve forgotten or chosen to ignore some fundamental life principals, such as humility and decency.

I’m sure everyone has some equivocation or “whaddaboutism,” but justifying treating others like chit because we perceive ourselves to have been wronged or slighted at some point can only go on for so long.

It’s mystifying how people have become such myopic, selfish little twits and that all the aforementioned negative traits are actually celebrated today.

The reason democrats are there own enemies...CNN reported a large number of Americans favor voter id democrats and Republicans yet the democrats still will refuse to pass it. Its 2026 its not hard to get a ID to be able to vote if am not sure why this is even debated

I think its myopic to think that this woman's testimony wasnt rehearsed and performed to push a narrative. I also think its myopic to believe all ICE agents are good and aren't breaking any laws. I think its myopic to believe any part of these protests are organic. Since I think this way im a selfish little twit. 2 wrongs never make a right and our govt is really good at convincing people otherwise.
