Well here I am with 3 pp's for deer and struggling with what to do and where to go. I'm looking at Region G at this point, I have never been there but hey I need to hunt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Andy.

If you can draw the G tag, then get it and go. Wyoming doesn't have any places IMHO that is worth building a bunch of deer PPs and Region G is as good of a chance at a good buck as waiting for any of the highly touted LE units that have all gone downhill and aren't worth more than a handful of PPs.

Thanks for the input, 06!

I think he summed it up real well. There are still big bucks in the western half of Wyoming. You have just a good a chance of killing one in Region G and H as nearly any of the LE units.

After drawing and hunting a LE tag this last fall, I felt like I could do as well hunting a region tag where I had previous elk experience just because I knew the ground better.

The potential is there if you hit the weather right on that LE tag 2rocky had, but I've come to a similar conclusion. I saw some smoker deer there on the last week of October this year, but I'd rather hunt early up high.
