Rain, Rain, Rain

Wish we could send you western folks some of this rain we are getting. It started in late last night, I've got 5" in the gauge right now and it's still coming down hard.
Gauge only goes to 6", I suspect it's going to overflow soon.

In addition we've had several 2-3" rains in last thirty days.

Hopefully my pumpkins appreciate it and it results in a bumper crop.

my backyard rain gauge has 5.35 inches on it for the year and i believe at least 0.5 inches of that was because the babysitter put the sprinkler too close to it when the kids were playing outside one day.

We MIGHT get a qaurted inch Wednesday through Friday here in south central MT. I hope the western half of the state gets some along with WA and ID. Let's hope the lightning doesn't make it worse
