Miss Grace turned 5 last month and asked her mommy if she could have a lemonade stand. My daughter asked her what she was going to do with the money. "Well duh, mom. I want to use it for the kids at the homeless shelter so they can have birthday parties!" Daughter asked her how much she would need to charge. Grace told her that people should just be able to donate what they wanted for a glass of lemonade and a cupcake.

Things have gone nutz. Radio remote at their shop when she had the first one. Second one last night was interview with local TV station. Definitely has her mother's spunk.

That's awesome. What a giving sole! Maybe at the end parent should get her a nice gift just because..........................

Fun watching her grow up, and obviously she is way more mature than the calendar would say.

You can learn a whole lot from a 5-year-old. Good job Grace

Somethings help restore your faith in humanity - Grace is one of those. I'm guessing there's some good parenting and grandparenting in this story as well.

Great story , kids don't think this way without the parents setting the example in the home and living out their convictions, for there children to emulate, :) props all around

Man, that's awesome. I hope to foster that kind of community-mindedness in my little girl. A lot to be proud about there.
