Ha, the pickup is parked across the hayfield about 500 yds out of the frame. The pic is at the end of the hike....the bad boy buggy is strapped to my back. Check out the size of those pheasant thighs....my dog's fearless.

carnage...horns?? This wasn't carnage, it was a pleasant husband wife outing. We weren't looking for impressive wall art, we were grocery shopping....

My dawg, being a chip off the block(head), prefers to exhibit understated confidence rather than blatant self promotion. She prefers her photos to have a hint of anonymity also. She was quite confident and self assured pointing gophers today instead of birds. Glad the little bastards aren't out during bird season.....very glad this fall won't have the spector of a looming legislative session afterword....
