Pronghorn in WA state.

Not the first attempt at transplanting pronghorn to WA but this attempt appears to have a good chance of working. A few stragglers from an earlier transplant are seen around Central WA. WA had pronghorn up until about WW1.

Pretty decent herd genetics for the ones they moved up there....

I believe that the earlier transplant was a project with SCI and Yakama Indian Reservation in early 2011. I don't know how the herd has done numbers wise, but I see them near where I farm occasionally.

I used to see them 25+ years ago around Moses Lake.
