Deer collision #7 over the years. This one being the worst. The other trucks mowed them down.
Any horror stories with Progressive?

I’m glad to hear some people have had good experiences. We may just have a bad local adjuster or something…

A guy pulled out in front of me last year, completely his fault (he had progressive). They were a nightmare for the body shop, tried to get them to use salvage parts on my truck because the new ones were expensive. Nickel and dimed everything.

A friend of mine wrecked his truck (deer) about 2 months ago, his fault. The repairs haven’t even been started. Can’t agree on what needs to be fixed between the shop and 2 different adjusters.

With them for just over 20 years, 4 vehicles; homeowners. Rv and boats. One claim to fix a chip in the windshield, no collisions no tickets for five years before we went with them. Got dinged for speeding 12 over coming into a small town. They raised our rates for “a pattern of reckless driving” one ticket 42 in a 30 mph zone in over 20 years. Went to mutual of Enumclaw immediately. They were happy to insure us, got a better rate than I was getting before the ticket with Progressive and when it had been three years since the ticket they lowered our rates again, agent actually called and let us know the rate was going down.
No claims experience with either company, other than windshield repairs.

5 vehicles and the home with them and they've been great. Mom was rear ended and car totaled last summer. I knew it was going to be totaled and came up with a number I wanted before even talking to the agent. Their first offer was $900 over what I wanted makes negotiating easy.

I've had two major deer collisions in my trucks and bear destruction on our Rav4 and Progressive treated us very fair on all three claims and were easy to work with and the adjuster was prompt. I've been with them for 11 years and have my vehicles, boat and camper insured with them.

I had them for my boat. My uncle borrowed it and hit a deer with it. They were good to work with getting it fixed up.

Thank god you don't work for my company. I hit a deer and had to take driver training on how to avoid deer collisions. Glad your OK

" Like the one the jumped over the fence and ditch to hit me in the middle of the night while I am pulling a trailer I said?" Maybe the deer should get training.

Unc hit a deer with a boat?
That's what I said when my uncle did the same thing, while towing his boat. Missed the truck and hit the boat. He got to the boat ramp to launch right at daylight and there's a dead mule deer in his boat. Broke a lot of other stuff on the boat.

Unc hit a deer with a boat?
He borrowed my truck and boat. Hit the deer with both while towing it. Took out the truck quarter panel, scratched the topper bad with its teeth, and did major damage to the boat. Progressive paid for us to send it back to the Lund factory to get disassembled and repaired.

Its gross even if you aren't the vehicle hitting the deer.
The three of us were driving down Paradise valley mid day in the winter when I saw a deer getting traction to gallop across the highway from our side. I brake and a minivan coming the other way hit the doe dead center about 50 yards in front of us. Slo-mo the stomach contents flew through the air and thoroughly coated the front of our vehicle( and skis on the roof).
Straight to the car wash before it froze.
