Going to Colorado for a muledeer huntin September.Going to be using Powerbelt 295or 245 areo tip bullets. They both shoot very accurate out of my rifles.Powder is BlackHorn 209 ,settled on 90 grains.Tried other bullets but none compaired for accuracy.

Use the better 300gr Powerbelt Aerolite, they have a much better performance record between my dad and I.

I've switched to round balls but when I used powerbelts, the 295s did a good solid job but when they came out with the Platinum and Aerolite series, the 300gr Aerolite is just a freakin beast.

I will have to get some Aerolite and see how they shoot for me,never tried them.

I haven't had much luck with weight retention or penetration with 295gr Powerbelt bullets and (2x) 50gr Pyrodex pellets on deer. Too much fragmentation and rare pass-thrus on 6 or so deer. That said, performance has been great - deer usually drop on the spot, always within 50 yards. Always get a ton of damage when placed in the heart/lung area. Good luck on your hunt!
