    I have a bull only first rifle hunt in Unit 12.. Seems there are a lot of private land in that unit, have you hunted unit 12 before? I have no idea where to start. Would appreciate any thing you can share..

    I liked the area east of eagle peak wilderness and AZ border. Red Hill which is NE of Cimarron Mesa. County Road A005 N off Hwy 60 about 10 miles east of AZ border. Malpais area in NE of the unit had bunches of ATVs and people throwing out trash. We did see some elk near the intersection of 117 near Malpais and the border of unit 12 and 13.

    Thank you Im going to unit 12 next just to get a better understanding of the are. Thank you very much They have had some rain last month some tanks now have water.
