At all cost if he is a plumber! Four hours under the kitchen sink before I said, "What the F and went to the bar."

Have been fixing chit at our last three houses for 30+ years! GD, SOB, Dirty rotten MF, CS! Last trip to plumbing supply and bought a good *basin wrench*. Holly phuck! And this was after I slipped and wiped out the goose neck in my face. But, the house general has a new kitchen faucet and new sink trap.

And.... to top it off she just called from D.C. and said she got an earlier flight out tomorrow and would be home at 7:15pm instead of 10:30. Go figure...... Need to get this pit cleaned up tonight instead of tomorrow. Love her to death, but going to be a long evening. For those of you who have been married awhile.... you kind of miss the wooly bear in her fleece jammies. They can't stand us at times and we also need our time away, but when it comes right down to it they have us by the?

I work with a bunch of plumbers. It's amazing that they can be ankle deep in sewage in their rubber boots with no qualms, but when someone farts it's like a covey of quail flushing.

Look familiar? Installation only awaits my squaw deciding which sink she wants to replace the old one with as well. Then comes remodeling both baths, then no doubt something else.

I feel your pain. I have a new toilet, sink, plus everything else stored in our spare bedroom just waiting for the house general to decide on what she wants to use on the shower walls. I am just about ready to *go for it* and perhaps she will make the decision sooner than later. Good luck to ya.

Yep, have an AS Champion sitting out in my old hunting/work van, SIL works for AS and is sourcing a discontinued vanity/marble top/mirror combo which she took a liking to. Have to get the other toilet and sink/shower hardware before work starts in earnest. I'll use my woodworking talents for the other vanity; maybe that will give me a breather between rooms.

Leaving Friday for a week in Florida; following that my excuses won't get much more play time. Maybe there won't be any tornadoes or hail storms down there. We're tired of getting beat up by the weather.
