Sitting in the parking lot, waiting to go back to work.

Hunting season is over. Wish I could say I was tagged out, but it just didn't happen this season.

Hopefully, I'll get a few days in January for late muzzleloader.

Sounds like you had a few days in the field hunting though, and whether you tag out or not, at least you are able to have the opportunity to get out there. Punched tag or not, i hope there is plenty of good memories to carry you through to the next hunt.

My curtain call will be tomorrow evening. I'm still trying to get my wife a deer but we won't get out on Saturday. We still have late season archery and muzzleloader but both freezers are full so no worries. Small game runs into February and then chasing coyotes gets me to spring turkey. After that, I can give in to my pronghorn obsession and start getting ready for October.

Deer over 1st Sunday in Jan, early spring will have the hogs moving, then spring turkey, No luck on elk or muley but did manage to get some whitetail venison in the freezer. Good luck to all for their remainders.

Move to Montana, we've got room. I've got deer and elk tags good through Jan 15, then wolf hunting, shed hunting, and spring bear to hold me over until June.

Good luck if you make it back out.

Haven't killed a deer in Oregon in five years. And, I'm supposed to be some kind of expert. Hmmm.

ODFW doesn't want me to kill one anyway.

Last deer I killed was in Montana, and I'm thinking I gotta get back.
