Pac-Nor pre-fit barrels

No experience with Pac-Nor but big, big fan of Liljas. Also have a brand new Carbon Six on a 25-6.5 PRC that seems promising but have only run 50 rounds down it doing load development, so far.

I have two, one on an 06 the other on a 338 Jarrett. SHot the Jarrett this morning, still giving well under MOA ( 250gr. Accubonds, 86gr RL26, 2925fps) velocity use to be 2950. Round count about 2500. Haven't shot the 06 in a while, but it easily under MOA with everything I've tried.
Target was 300 yards

They were the original Preferred Barrel Blanks. They would reuse an action, had a fire and shut down to rebuild a few years ago. They were always great barrels. I live right in between Vestals Custom Rigles and Bugholes, but they won’t donEuger’s PAC Nor did. Carbon six is popular, but nobody likes mcgowen, and the use McGowen barrels. I have a 10 year old McGowen 18” 30/06 barrel that is as good as any of Bartliens

I thought preferred was just an expansion of match grade machine?

I chatted with Pac-Nor today. I’m going to send my Kimber 84L barrel and they will match the contour and send back to me in two months. It sounds great so far. I’ll give an update in March once I have it back on my rifle.

I guess I worded that incorrectly. PAC Nor was the original send in your action and get a barrel or order a pre fit company like Preferred barrel blanks. I bought stuff from them seems like forever ago. Most companies only sold blanks, Hart and Shillen would rebate, but PAC Nor had the options.

I have a handful of pacnor barrels, all very good. I've recommended them to a few friends, they're all happy with them as well.

200 yards, less than 20 rounds from a new pacnor barrel.
