Just thought I would share this here. Did a makeover on one of my favorite rifles with Paul.

It’s a 260 Ackley that has been my go to for a while. The original build was a trued action, Lilja 3 groove 8 twist, Trigger Tech independence, and B&C sporter.

It functioned fine but I hated the stock. I felt like it was holding the gun back from being a true 1/2moa rifle. I just couldn’t get comfortable as it didn’t fit well.

A McMillan Hunter Edge was ordered and bedded. Then he threaded and made a smooth cap for the barrel. He gave it a tungsten cerakote and it all came together. Makes me really want to touch up my scope scratches. Looking forward to getting this back to the range. Maybe even out west for a nice mule deer this year.
