P_ham has put together my first custom and I couldn’t be more excited after today’s first range trip. I intend to post another story later with more details.

Rifle is a 25-06AI and the pic below are the first three shots I fired today. The load is a mid-level load of Staball HD under a 120 grain Speer btsp. I was hoping theyd be warm enough to fire form the new brass. The accuracy I saw got me really excited.

Special thanks to the HT team for recommending Paul. He’s been excellent to work with.

More to come as I form cases and work up 133 gr Berger loads.

Yeah. I bore sited it and those were the first 3 fired before adjusting

Have a bit of case forming and barrel cleaning in the near future.
Really hoping the 133 gr Bergers shoot with similar precision to the 120 speers. Feeling good about the outcomes.

I’ve started with new Norma 270 necked down. Working through fire forming now (100 pcs)
