Very sorry for your loss. I get choked up just reading this. I had a dog growing up as a kid, even though she was like MY dog, I don't recall being very emotional when she passed. Maybe because I was younger (late teen's) when we had to let her go, maybe I thought I was a tough guy back then or something. My wife and I got our first dog (a lab) last year and I'm very much attached to her. Hopefully she has many happy and healthy years ahead of her, but I know when the day comes it's going to be really really hard on me. My condolences
