For those who have owned a pair of Lowa Tibets, I'd appreciate your opinions of them. I'm looking to order a pair online - did you find that their sizes ran larger or normal that your typical shoe size?

Yep, Sierra had them for $129.99 back in February. If I didn't already have my next pair sitting in the closet I would have jumped on it.Thanks for the replies, everyone. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a pair from Sierra.com for $139.99. I'm sure they are last year's style (or the year before that), but at that price I'm just going to take a chance. They have limited sizes. I'm kind of between sizes depending on the brand, so as @hank4elk said, I ordered the 1/2 size larger to make sure I have room for some winter socks. If they are too large and if they still have the smaller size, I can always make an exchange. But I think that price was too good to pass up.
Little late here, but I found mine to not be true to size. But I wear a 14 so sizes get weird up there. Regardless of how I laced them or what sock combo I wore, I couldn’t get rid of heel slip on the right boot, but strangely not the left.UPDATE: The boots arrived. Since I usually wear an 8.5 but sometimes wear a 9 in certain brands, I ordered a 9. What arrived was a box pre-printed with a size chart showing these boots to be a US size 11. Beside that size chart, an adhesive label was slapped on the box with the product code for a size 9. The label on the tongue of the boots showed these to be a size 11. Indeed they were too big. But I feel they were more like "size 10 too big" rather than "size 11 too big." I put them sole-to-sole with a couple of pairs of my size 9 boots and they are, indeed, noticeably bigger.
So, I returned them to Sierra's brick-and-mortar store in Helena this morning with no hassle (the retail store did not have any Lowa boots on the shelf). So, I don't know if somehow I just got a pair of 11s that were mistakenly marked as 9s or if these are factory 2nds that were miss-sized originally and then simply estimated to be size 9s and sold as such with the slap-on label.
I'm going to give them another chance. So, I've now ordered a pair of size 9s as well as a pair of size 8s. If my first order was simply a fluke, the size 9s should work. If all of Sierra's Lowa boots are miss-sized and the factory "size estimator" is under-estimating everything, then maybe the size 8s will fit perfectly. Whatever the result, I'll simply return whichever pair or pairs doesn't fit. At this price-point, I don't want to just give up on the deal.
In case anyone else is interested in this deal, I'll give another update when the replacements arrive. In every other respect, the boots looked perfect and the box contained the little 20-30 page booklet that accompanies the boots.
100% my experience. They are wider than they were some years ago but still love them. On my third pair… Mine have never leaked. One my third or forth pair. I like them. Pretty much the only boot I wear October through March. I’ve always ordered my regular size. I felt like the fit changed a little between my first and second pair but that was year ago. First ones seemed narrower than current
