Honestly the number one thing you can do get an invite to a true up north deer camp. You'll know when you are in a true one because the ratio of beers to deer hung on the meat pole is about 100 to 1 for an amateur camp and close to 1000 to 1 at an outfitted pro camp. The best bucks are also shot while walking out to take a piss or shit

Baldwin and the Pere Marquette for lake run steelhead and salmon. That river is high on the list of my top 5 favorite places I have ever fished.

I’ve never fished it but have done a lot of canoe trips out of Baldwin. Absolutely beautiful river.

IN OhioLake Erie walleye, smallmouth bass and steelhead. Unfortunately the deer around here in Central Ohio have gotten decimated by ehd. This gun season heard 1st shot on second day of season. Years past I would say sounds more like a war. Northeast and especially Southern and Central Ohio is really good for turkey because of all the cicadas here recently. I got a spot on Buckeye that catch lots of 13-14 inch crappie from if you ever want to do that.

some good documentaries out there on not only this ship, but all of the great lake freighters. There is a fascinating history of shipping on the great lakes, you know, if your a nerd about stuff like that.

If you buy polish sausage for hunting camp remember it's going to stink up your car. Hit up Eastern Market. Get some amazing tamales for NYE in Mexicantown. See a Wings game at the Joe. Oh wait the Joe doesn't exist anymore. Little Ceasars Stadium. See a Tigers game at Comerica Park. See a show at the Magic Stick. Check out the DIA.

Tired of city life? Fish the waters of the Pere Marequette. Go musky fishing! Go deep lake salmon fishing. Freeze your tits off in Lake Superior. Backpack Picture Rocks. Go up the M22 and visit Empire, Glen Arbor, Traverse City. Eat some cherries. Go to Drummond Island. Braap Braap on something with an engine around a lake. Tube waterski monoski. Skiski at Mt Bohemia. Play some hockey. Pond hockey up north if you can find it.
