Even thou I didn't draw any tags this year I still enjoy helping those who did. I put my buddy on this buck the other day. Needless to say the buck is still out there.

What kind of optics and tripod are you using? Is that a Costco muffin or home made?

Vortex aluminum with the single wing nut. I like the weight and simplicity of it. Muffin was made by the wife the evening before along with some sausage balls for lunch.

Thought I recognized the logo. Lost all my optics to a burglar a couple of years ago and have started replacing them with Vortex. Will be picking up the Vortex Diamondback on my way to Elko next weekend. Will have to look at their tripods.
