Northern MN Deer

[Up North 8]

The evening of opening day in the last few minutes before dark a little 9 point stepped into my shooting lane and broke my 8 year dry streak. It was 8 years because of my time in service and poor luck on public land. It was so nice to finally get a deer again, and its probably the biggest deer i've killed in all honestly. In the picture is my 5 year old daughter and the same blaze orange stocking cap that i've wore with every deer that I have killed since I got my first deer at 8 years old (I am now 24).
