I'm heading over to Valdez from Soldotna to catch a landing craft to my cabin tomorrow for the summer. While I was in Freds I thought I'd pick up my license.
100 bucks?
I told her I thought I paid more last year. She said it when down 40.00.
That's nice if it did.I really can't remember. Getting old

Anyway I got a great deal on my throw away fishing rods at Meyers.
Any fishing stuff, buy one get one free. I usually buy 2 for the season and by the end I scabbing parts to make one good one
I bought 4.
To catch more fish
I always dip them in salt water when I'm fishing out of my kayak.
That gets rid of my scent.😁
Seriously I always start out telling myself that I'm going to be very careful and usually in the excitement of netting the first fish the reel goes for a swim.

Awesome. June 8th my wife and I will be on our way up for 10 days.
Hoping to getting some King fishing in

Thanks for in the info. My wife and I will be escorting her parents to the Homer area to enjoy some fishing and site seeing during the week of July 4th. Hope we have nice weather.

Enjoy! If you weren't down in Homer, the 4th of July car launch in Glacier View is a hoot! Don't think I'm making it to our cabin this year. Can't find a rental car ANYWHERE! :(

I was not familiar with the car launch until I found it on YouTube, OMG!!! That looks like a great time. We have 2 fishing charters planned during the week and I am sure my wife and I will bum around when the in laws are resting.
