Buddy of mine drew one of the non-res bighorn ewe tags. BHS-1-202 as his third choice. Be interesting to see what his plan is for the fall with a surprise draw.

Was lucky enough to draw my 3rd choice - also excited to take a friend on his first elk hunt! Think he's nervous, when I texted him that we drew he responded "what do we do now?!" kinda chuckled when I read it and responded "get ready to hunt elk this fall!"

Will also be fun to get back into a unit I hunted/drew about 12 years ago - always fun to be lucky enough to go back to an area you've spent some time in!

Can't believe it - showing green for unit 13 archery elk and for unit 21 archery antelope - never thought I'd see the day. And, my wife had a similar response as Frazier and ImBillT. Oh well, can't wait to hunt NM for the first time.

I drew 2nd Choice bighorn ewe in CO a few years ago so did not lose my accumulated points. Was "only" $1900 back then. Was an interesting hunt and got to be in sheep country a bit. Once was enough at that price, though.

My buddy and I drew a unit 45 rifle tag. This is only my 3 elk hunt and first rifle hunt. We are doing a drop camp. I would be ecstatic with any legal bull I come across for my first elk.
