NM Draw 2011

It's that time! I'm feeling lucky this year. Thinking I'll be hunting at least deer and elk this fall in the Land of Enchantment. Good luck to everyone that put in.

I hope you are right about that, Spitz. Not holding my breath for NM deer. Used only one choice, and it is lottery type odds. First two choices in antelope and elk are tough odds also, but third choices were both around 30% last year.

Will be nice to know, as it will solve the August and September part of the filming calendar, whether I draw or don't draw.

Come'on Ibex!

My 13 year old daughter drew the Rhodes Canyon oryx tag so I may as well go the New Mexico twice.

I've been putting in for oryx for a long time and that little chit drew it on her first try.

Kind of par for the course for me on draw hunts, 29 years of putting in for moose, sheep and goat in Montana and 1 goat tag drawn.
