Why would your atypical blackpowder gun necessitate an abortion of a riflescope that I'd never put on a 1000 yard+ precision centerfire?
You're a different shooter than I am. Plain and simple. Different strokes for different folks.

I knew you were going to amount to something special when you started posting a few days ago. I've got a gift.I thought you left a long time ago?
Honestly, you come off as borderline retarded because you can't seem to grasp that folks have different levels of ability and comfort for taking game. The person who shot 357 yards with open sights is amazing - and good for them - but that is not typical.
Regarding 32mm, I meant 30mm (typo, sue me).
And it was my understanding that large tube diameters also allow more light to pass thru from the objective lens. It seems logical...
If you consider the deer kill zone to be 8-10" ethically, we're very different hunters.
I don't know what kind of "shooter" you are, but your choice for scopes for a blackpowder rifle are hilarious. You're a different shooter than I am. Plain and simple. Different strokes for different folks.

For sure. Tell me more about this ultimate muzzleloader.Whatever that means. Most of the people here sound like they hunt in video games and not in real life.
My wife.... who cant drive legally at night and has vision thats beyond lasik correction - was able to hold on an 8" white spot at 720 yards and connect her first attempt shooting a scoped rifle with a quality 16x scope.Honestly this place is toxic. Haven't shot it at paper, but I can hit the 6" gong consistently. There's people on that website I posted that regularly can shoot 2" groups at 300 with it.
FWIW, I shoot 0.5-0.75" groups at 100, 2-3" groups at 200. I'm not an expert though.

You either have a glorfied chinese potatoe for a 16x scope or have vision to the point of irresponsibility of handling a firearm.
Seems like a last ditch, end of year, desperate Hail Mary for a POTY award.I can't get myself to ignore this thread. I'm trying, but I just can't do it.

For a deal, TRACT has a new long range scope though.
