Yeah, they've been slow this year. I've had some email exchanges with NDOW and they finally published the regs.

Thanks for the notice Big Fin. This year I'm going to start the expensive process of building points there....
I've researched the reg's before, but just so that I am correct, you buy your license, pay the applications fee's for each specie, buy the bonus point for $10 each, but DO NOT have to submit the tag fee, correct? If you are drawn, then they will charge you for the tag right? My odds of drawing would be about 0, but if I don't have to submit the tag fee, I might as well put my name in the hat.

vdo, you're correct - that's why the recommendation is to use a credit card instead of a debit card.

they also have a siver state elk, deer, and antelope. those that have killed a bull last year can put in for this for the 2011 season. its like an auction or heritage tag and you can hunt with any weapon in any hunt area. however, theres only one tag for each species. but, someones gonna draw it right? pretty cool deal!
